Anyone tried aftermarket intercooler
Has any one tried installing an aftermarket water to air intercooler? I am thinking of doing this. I can get some for around $200. Witch will be a lot cheaper than Macs. Also I do not like soft charge pipes like the one that comes with the kit. I will not be able to mount it in the stock location but that is not a big deal to me. And input would be helpfull.

I am looking at re clocking the turbo so the outlet is facing the rear of the the ski. Then mounting the intercooler in the left rear of the ski. This will probley be a winter project for me. I will keep everyone informed.

i was looking at the pwr barrel 4x6.. space saving if the capacity is enough and inlet/outlet sizes right at 2" or close.

I am looking into something like this. It is large, but I think it will work. I will have to get some reducers for the inlet and outlets, along with getting some mandrel bends for the pipeing.

i have a brand new one like that , was gonna use on my supra but staying with air to air. You can have it for 100 shipped if you want..I'll send you dims if you're interested. Bigger than i want in my ski. But i like your thought about clocking the turbo for optimal fit. Dont know why i didnt think of that.
edit: reduced price. xspower, 2-231 look a like. new never used.
