    1995 SL750 Heart Surgery

Christmas came about half-a-year early this year. Anyone want to take a guess what is in the box?

    I'll provide updates soon.

As promised I took a few pictures of the presents I received from Santa (Sharps Marine). Everyone pretty much guessed what was there; I had stock 750 cylinders bored out 0.75 and an awesome porting job. On top of that I had the heads cut to bump up the compression.

These pictures are taken after I completely cleaned the case halves. The next step will be to have to crank checked to make sure it's fine, even tho I'm 99.999% sure it is (knock on wood), and then start assembling the goods. I'll keep you guys updated because I know how you love projects & pics.

    Update:

Engine is 100% assembled (only took what... 3 months? ) All that's left is:
    • Drop it in the hull
    • Fuel & Cooling Plumbing
    • Very little electrical (weatherpack connections FTW!)
    • exhaust
    • Pump
    • Other misc. crap
    • Drink a beer
I'm at work right now so I'll provide pictures later in the day.

Nice man, don't sweat the three months. That's why they are called projects. Mine move along as money allows.

    Pictures as promised.

My plan is to get the boat 100% in stock form (aside from the goodies inside the engine ) then start to tweek it from a clean slate.
