Question Does anyone know where the SVR comes from???

About 2 years ago while owning my 1998 YAMAHA GP's, I became atracted to the YAMAHA XLT body style. I looked at a few & saw an '02 blue/white one with the SVR logos. Never bothered to find out why because I knew very little about these XLT's. I thougth that was normal. The XLT that I purchased also has the SVR logos. Including one inside the engine compartment on the exhaust cover. I've heard the SVR is the identical waverunner in Europe which brings no cat which if you guys recall, I bought the D plate/chip for no reason because when I took apart my exhaust, I found a D-plate already installed. Don't know how true that may be though. Anyway, food for thought. Any imput is welcome.

All I can help with is a site here in Blighty that lists models and years of build for quite a few makes and models. The site lists a Super Venture model (although it's a 4 seater, and it says 135hp, 1131cc?). We don't get the CatCon here in UK, and the 'D' plate is a standard fitting with us, so that could mean you've got a European ski.Try www.jetski-info.com to see if anything looks familiar.
