    Painting RXP!!!

Im doing away with the green and the green only! Should be an easy transformation! I need some advise on a few things!

    1. Does the 2001 rxdi and the 2005 rxp have the same grab handle? They look exactly the same , I would get the rxdi because its black from the factory, or paint the green one.

    2. Are the plastic pieces paintable and if so, will they hold up?

3.the plastic pieces at the front corner of the seat, can you get them in any other color from factory?

    4. The rub rails only come in green/yellow as far as I know, should I look into getting them off a GTX?

    5. Whats everones favorite aftermarket hand grips? I love the factory ones if I could change the color on them.

I hope what ever color you paint it is very very bright so I can look back and see you.LOL Maybe we can get some two way radios so I know you are still back behind me some where. P.S. That was a great ride Saturday. Rubber Duck Racing

Those pieces at the front of the seat are easy to change. There's 6 screws that hold them in from the inside. You undo those 6 screws and the whole foam/rubber piece comes off and leaves you with just the nasty green plastic piece.

I hit mine with some plastic primer and then a coat of appliance enamel black. Gives it the same shine as the top deck and has been holding up beautifully...

    RXDi handle bolts right up...

You know I'll be honest...as I'm getting rid of all the other green the hood is really starting to grow on me...
