    2001 RX Jetting

When I had my 2001 RX, I installed flame arrestors and rejetted.

    165 mains
    77.5 pilots
    2.3 n/s
    95 gram spring [same]
    on Proks w/outerwears.
OEM 46mm carbs w/accel pump still attached.

It gave it some good bottom end power and slightly stronger midrange pull.

If you add more compression a Solas Concorde 15/20 will help.
If you keep the OEM compression, a ST-CD-14/19 is good

I ordered the parts back then from Bill O'Neal from Watercraft Magic

Billy is dead on with this.
Also, do the simple stuff like filling the ride plate holes and caulking where the ride plate meets the hull.
The flame arrestors and rejet will get you into the 62ish range.

I pulled a 64.1 gps on mine with arrestors, rejet, filled holes, and a monkey'd exhuast. LOL.....

Stock motor, stock head, stock prop, 2 bars of fuel and my fat 270lb arse on it...

Billy, what will the ST-CD-14/19 do for it over stock?
    Thanks
    Doug

depends how much he is looking to spend...if he's just looking for a little more umph and top speed you can get the above and then get the head worked for upped compression and should be around $1K invested. Just ordered my rejet/filter package from Bill today. There are some places that offer the rejet/filter/head work package for around $500(you'd need to send them your head of course).

you'll see a better bottom end and midrange pull with that just 14/q9 over stock.
In order to get the full gain, rejet with the F/A's and you'll see roughly another 70-90 rpms and + 1-2 mph over stock.

Mine GPS'd a consistent 63 mph after the mods. I never filled the holes

Hey Billy, Think I could pull the 15/20? I also forgot that I'm running a white pipe as well as the other stuff mentioned that you used to run on your RX. I'm right at 7100 rpm's pulling pretty consistant 64's. I know I'm right there at the rev limiter.

I think you could. It would be close. Your turning more RPM's that what my RX was. Or pitch that one up a degree on the trailing edge.
    Or get a Wetwolf adjust-a-thrust
