    RXT 06 vs 05

What was GP talking about when he said the RXT06 is better than the 05.
    It was on sdn

There is a couple things about the '06 that the '06 that I can go into....non-disclosure
get's me again......but nothing that would keep me away from an '05, just the thing I described above would be a *good idea*.

I think the SC clutch is a bit different. Thicker ceramics, I believe. Don't quote me on that though...someone here will know for sure.

someone mentioned that they thought rev limit was lower on one they rode and Mark U added that the camshaft was different for fuel economy. I have no idea if this info is correct.

i got 100 hours on my RXT, original clutch, horrible maintenance schedule oil was left in there way too long for both oil changes, and i didn't touch any electronics or whatever.... don't sweat it, just ride. Clutch might be the only thing i'd consider upgrading, but there's so many thousands of people on their original clutches, like myself.

    06 RXT

I saw an 06 for the first time this weekend.
It looks as if the oil pump housing at the front of the engine has gone. There were rumors that one oil pump would be dropped for 06 - anyone know about this?
    - It does seem a strange move - I wonder what the reason is (may make cleanup of ceramic debris easier )
I also looked at the hull, and it was still fibreglass, not plastic, which had been talked about.

that's something i noticed is that the TOPS valve crank venting system is no longer at the front of the motor... it's in the back right between the SC and the block
