The new GTI ate some rocks
Was out with my g/f last weekend, I had bought her a new GTI SE. Told her about the rock bar, and twenty minutes later I hear her screaming. She hit it, and got stuck, and didn't think to shut the ski off. It was only a week old!
Got a new wear ring from the dealer, 60 bucks. Ouch.
And for 50 bucks they put the wear ring in, and pulled the impeller and tried to fix it up a bit. They did the best they could. Also dremeled out the plastic fins, they weren't bad at all. The guy said it would be fine, that if it was an RXP or something he'd recommend replacing it.
110 and I should be good to go. I usually do the work myself, but I didn't have the tool for the impeller. And I didn't wanna wait to send out the impeller to impros. I just pulled the pump out and took the housing up there. Should be all set to be out on the water this weekend!

Took it out today, and it runs fine. I wasn't a big fan of the dealer's job on the impeller, but I wanted it fixed for this weekend. Same top speed, no loss of RPM's. I will still look out for an impeller, but this works great for now.
Raced a GSX too, I beat him.
