WHY didn`t BRP let GTX SC rev beyond 7650???

Why did BRP limit the GTX SC to 7650?
Is it just the rev limit set in the ECU?
Can the stock set-up of the GTX SC rev higher if the rev limit was set higher? on it`s own? Or is the GTX SC limited by other factors? ie, SC?, prop? etc. Know what I mean?

    ...PR...

    lets hear some facts!

It was BRP's way of keeping us down. But, it sounds to me like you've already solved the problem. Maximum warp, Scotty!

Nope, mine pegged out at 7650, 63-64mph...

This topic was to discuss the differences in the GTX SC vs the RXP/RXT`s in respect to why and what`s different mechanically and electronically, that allows the RXP/RXT to rev higher, is it just more than electrics? are the mechanicals beefier? can the stock chain handle a few more revs safely? I`m sure, but goes back to: why didn`t BRP make the GTX SC rev like the rest of them, and did they discover the 4-tec had more when testing and pushing the envelope!?...

aside from the cast pistons and SC gear set: Isn`t the crank, block, head, valves, springs, retainers, timing chain, basic configuration of the intake manifold, throttle body?, the same in the GTX SC?RXT/RXP`s????...PR...
