    Stick-on car bra

Does anyone remember a discussion here back in the spring about using a clear stick on plastic like is used on a car hood to protect against road rash. I cannot find the thread but I'm interested in researching to use some on my RXT where the front hull always hits the docks. Anyone remember the product and/or where to get it by the foot?

hey lafjax how are you? i know what you want to do to the hood of your sea doo by protecting it with the clear film paper.

just a little advice,i already used this on my motorcycle before on the front of the gas tank,to protect it from the zipers and belts...
the only downfall is when you remove it the rest of your paint will not match the restof the area (because of the sun etc..) so either do your whole plastic hood or you will need a damm good wet sanding and buffing afterwards.
    take care

i would love to do the mudbug event but us canadians are not insured in the u.s.a so if its stolen or simple car accident or anything else its at our own risk.
    a big price to pay.

if you do the clear sticker route you wont be able to tell the difference too much but do the whole cover.
thanks for the elbows offer i might hold you for it one day .

but for now i got 2 spares

Mine is made by 3M. It looks good and works well. You can't even tell its there unless you are looking for it.
