    Riva intake kit installation ?

I am installing the riva intake and i have a question. Pictures below show me pointing at the hose that came off of the OE intake system. Is that the hose that goes back on the riva pipe? If so then what does this hose that came with the riva kit go to?

my guess would be it's the same thing... it comes off the TOPS valve.. that's the vent hose from your crankcase. it vents into the air intake.

maybe Riva supplys a replacement hose with their kit to go from that valve fitting on the engine and into their intake tube

Must be for the 06 boats with the TOPS on the back of the motor. Maybe to extend the pipe a bit.

Yes, that hose attaches to the nipple on the Riva intake (front). I just finished the Riva Power Filter on my 05 RXP. I belive there is a drawing detail in the instructions that shows it. Use some window cleaner on the hose before you put it in the plastic nipple. It's a tight fit. Put this hose on last, after you have the plastic intake attached to the bracket.

your best bet is getting a catch can and ridding the air intake system of any kind of crank/oil vent hose. I seen some good SC housings caked in oil... and u can bet the intake manifold and intercooler look the same
