    Question Sponsons

is there a way I can get sponsons from a 2001 yamaha gp 1200 to fit my SL780? or from any other skis other than Polaris? my ski doesnt have any so they would work right? drill the holes, bolt on and caulk

if so how do I put them on? b/c the foam is in the way

or is it not even worth it?

I used the template in the instructions and also measured and looked at my SLX a couple of hundred times. I was nervous about drilling holes in the hull. The foam stays if you use the inserts and the tool to seat them, plus the urethane.

I'd also stay with the Polaris sponsons just so you know you won't find the Yami/BRP/Honda/Kawi sponsons have an ill handling effect on your craft.
The directions locate the sponsons in their appropriate position and the correct inserts will make installation easy with outside hull access only.
