    Run it hard on break in?

    What are your opinions on this?

    ride it like you stole it, stay away from any one rpm for more than a few seconds during the first couple of hours.

    My opinion is just vary the throttle setting as much as possible and short WOT bursts to help seat the rings. I would not do any extended WOT on a new engine.

    I run at least 10 gals through (at a heavier oil mixture) before I go over 5000 rpms.
