any interest in Delaware river ride from>

I used to ride the delaware from Bordentown NJ to Phila, Penns Landing or therabouts.
Is there anyone interested in launching at the township ramp in Bordentown and meet up for a ride up the river?

if so, maybe we can plan enough in advance to get a few riders together... I know the Philly peeps prolly want in?
Don`t know how many central or south Jersey riders would doo it, spread the word!...PR...

    Hey pale,
This is the area we ride daily.Sometimes we head up to bordentown(great flat water for speed runs). Usually we head south to penns landing or deleware.

The only downside to a group ride is the lack of 93 octane gas on the river. Theres only 1 place for 93 and its midway between bordentown and penns landing. Most of the people at the shipbottom ride were filling up on 93.(no line at the 89 pump for me)

Theres quite a few forum members that ride out there every weekend,(wavehummer, itzmunch and his group of 8,crazedrxp who was out there with wavehummer on sat but i didnt get to meet cause i was on my slow ass 47MPH boat)

If the forum ride doesnt turn out to be,you're more than welcome to come down any weekend and ride with us. It's fun to play with the tourists at penns landing. This weekend was the hispanic festival.Lots of hot senioritas,Unfortunatley thats the only word i know in spanish,so no senioritas for me I should've taken spanish in high school instead of auto body tech

cool, let`s post some dates, maybe a few weeks after Freedom ride in DC...
I don`t know where we can pick up some eats, maybe Kami or itz can suggest something to accomodate the group or we can do a brown bag gig, float the ski`s somewhere and have a party!
    Let`s hear some suggestions...

for me it is just a ride to the old neighborhood, anyone coming from this side of the state could follow and maybe have breakfast at Mastoris or Wisdom diner, both good... early am, then go to the bordentown municipal ramp, I think the fee is $10.00, but that may have increased. If someone knows please post it... then we`re in the water and runnin!...PR...

All the nj ramps i see are free. You have trenton ramp near kat man du nightclub. The next ramp down is near hamilton just past the power plant, nice ramp, its in a cove,no current to float your ski away.It has a beach, but its small round pebbles.next one down is bordentown, you know that one.

They closed the restaraunt at jacks marina on the pa side.he sold out to condo developers. They still have curtains in burlington, its a nice place, much like sweetwater casino, fuel docks there also, but its so soon into the ride i doubt anyone but the ultra 250's will need gas

Down at penns landing is Dave & busters,we all know what that is i think, parking there used to be $6,i believe its $12 now...pretty crazy,im not sure if theres a place right next to it we could tie up and go in,but its a really nice place and i dont know how strange we'll feel walking in dressed in ski wear.

Down in essington is the lagoon..http://www.thelagoon.net/nightclub.asp
Another nice place, restaurant, nightclub, but riding down that far is going to require a refuel so im going to have to ask around to see if there are any places to pick up 93 octane. There is a marina right next to lagoon, but i believe its 87 or 89.

If this isnt going to happen in the next week or so i can poke around down that way and find out where we can refuel with 93 and check for parking for 25+ skis like at shipbottom.

I don`t think it can happen that quick, I`m gonna try and go to the freedom ride in DC with lenny next saturday, conditions permitting, anything after that is cool with me, unless my first grandchild is born, any day now!
I`ve been to D&B`ers, cool place, but I agree waltzing in their with our ski dudds on would be kinda freaky especially lenny with his 2 peice John ...
But yeah, we got some time, so if ya feel like pokin around and see what`s happening that`s cool!

keep me posted cause I`d like to ride the "D" with you dudes!...PR...

Kami, where do you guys launch from? the PA side?

I was just thinking. It may be possible to park at H(o) (o)TERS next to D&B's,everyone loves hooters, its the closest thing to a go-go bar on the water. I'll stop in and see if they mind if we park our skis out front.
