i have two questions. How do you clean the intercooler of debris and sand?? and i have seen a riva intercooler sand/debris filter, its a inline filter, will that put much restriction on the flow to the intercooler??

go with a Groco 750 strainer, it will not restrict flow and easily cleaned if mounted correctly...PR...

If its clogged really bad like mine is, constant overheating alarms, you may want to read Jerry's post in the Tip of the Day section. Crap can get caked in there really bad and you may need a little something more. The in line filter is A MUST.

whatever cleaner you use read the label and make sure it won't eat the Al. I've seen what some people clean theirs with and they are eating the core. CLR specifically says NOT to use with Al, alot of the acids out there will eat Al for lunch, so be careful.

There is something in the pump housing/impeller area, take the pump off and have a good look.
