Question Average number of hours on a ski per year???

Can anyone give me a ballpark what a "normal" number of hours would be on a ski per year? I know that an average vehicle mileage would be about 15,000 Miles... is there an average number of hours for a ski per year???

Too many variables when it comes to "pleasure vehicles".

I did a straw poll survey lasy tear on SDN and based upon ~40 peoples response, it was an average of ~60 hours per year. The poll was for 4TEC engined skis only. Also, most PWC Board posters are more active riders. Region/riding season plays a length in it some but the midwest showed just as much average use as southern skis in the straw poll. I would guesstimate ~40-50 hours is typical. Might be worth starting apoll here to find out.

region has alot to do wit it. Southern boys ride year round, while guys like me up north only get 4-5 months if we have the balls and wetsuits to brave the cold.

For my case, I usually ride 60 to 70 hours per year... It depends of the schedule work - - It's almost the same thing for my buddies... - Here, we ride year round...Personally, I only stop in January and half-february...

Usually I put 100hrs on my ski but I also ride other boats too. Between the 3 other boats I have there is another 100hrs there.

Keep in mind its only too cold to ride maybe 3 weekends out of the year where I am.

Between Kids, work, finances, ect I get about 30 per year, oh yeah I also don't ride unless the temp is over 70, 80 if it's windy.....yeah I'm a pussy.

Its gonna be less this year, that's for sure, If I get this thing fixed I'll be lucky to get 20 hours.

I guess Im way off. I put 43000 miles on my truck, 68 hours on my lawn mower, and 30 hours on my ski last year. With countless hours on this stupid computer.

It totally depends on the location and the rider. A buddy of mine has two 2000 Yamaha Waverunners and each ski has 120-135 hours on it.
