Thread: Jumping RXPs

Unmodified 2005 RXP - I lost my SC last week. I've seen several posts lately that say the SC washer problem is caused/aggravated by jumping the ski. Is the general consensus that it's true? It's not that easy to get the RXP airborne to start with and I hate to think I turned in my Yamaha GP1200 for a RXT I can't jump. Is this just until my warranty runs out and I can install steel washers or install a better SC.
This forum is the first place I've found for answers, the dealers and Seadoo are useless.
Thanks for you inputs.

Do you want to fight with them over washers, or do you want your ski to slowly self destruct at your expense?

The metal washers will not void any warranty, infact they will prevent a warranty claim.
Once a year send your SC to Jerry and he can freshen up the slip moment and install shims if necessary.
At the moment your ski starts to leap off a wave, just let off the gas. I have done this thousands of times and I have almost 200 hours on my ski with zero issues......
