Thread: Pump Failure?
07-10-2007, 09:08 PM #1
on top of the supercharger tensioner bearings going and chewing up the belt, the dealer is now replacing the entire pump assembly. the bearings were toast in the pump and there was a consistent 1/16th to 1/8th inch gap missing off of each blade of the prop..... which in turn took out the stator housing completely.... it almost looked as if they stuck a 148mm prop in a 155mm housing thats how symetrical the gap was on each blade.
pump is being ordered tomorrow morning and will be installed thursday morning.
i can only imagine what it is gonna be like now with a new pump in it....
i am smelling a solid 70mph on gps with a jim's mod plate, wedge, and filter kit
