    Reverse not working

I have a 2002 Polaris Genesis and when I press the reverse button nothing happens. Any ideas why?
    Thanks

It will work when I press the bilge and reverse button when the engine is not running but it still won't work by just pressing the reverse when the engine is running.

Did you work through the continunity tests listed above? Does your bildge pump run while the engine is running? Let us know what you find out.

It sounds like a bad LR-505, test to see if you get power to the orange wire while the boat is running, if not replace the LR505.

I had the LR503 P/N 4010724 replaced a little while ago. Where would the LR-505 be.

Please excuse me but my mechanical ability is not very good.

For this above issue, do yall mind if I ask 2 questions?

1, is this LR505 suspect even if the bilge pump runs while the motor is running?

    2. What/Where is the LR505?

I have the above issue, reverse works (slowly) with bilge pump on, motor off.. Does not work at all when engine running. Have not used the bilge pump method while motor running yet.

Actually I would like to amend this,

The only other thing I noticed was that the bilge pump does NOT run constantly with the motor on. You have to push the bilge button.

And any info on this mystical LR505 would be helpful, I have looked and searched, and cannot find even a description of what this part is. It's not in the parts book, not on other sites I've searched, etc etc. If someone could link me or give me a part number, that would rock.

I've got an 01 Virage TXi

The LR505 is the voltage regulator. I belivieve there are a couple of different models with different numbers.

Have you checked out the '02 service manual located in the tech section. It should be real close to your machine.

By the way, it sounds like yours is toast.
