Put new plugs in
I put new BPR7ES in my 95 750. How long does it take for new plugs too turn color?? It seems like its takin for ever. Its been 3.5 hours since i replaced the plugs an there just starting too get dark tan color.

You should have used Bpr8es. As this is the plug that works the best with todays newer fuels. I find that in less than an hour of riding mine are showing color, so I am guessing yours is running way lean.

WARNING!!!!!! Check length of BPR7ES against BPR8ES because if I remember correctly one is slightly longer than the other and if you put the longer ones in it could possibly hit the Piston! Best case it just closes the electrode gap, Worst case it could put a hole in your Piston! If they are the same then should be ok.

Run the 8's the 7's have been a problem with crappy fuels and can be a proble.

But im not runnign lean at all. I check piston wash. Its fine, I went riding today an they all finally turned color after 1.5 tanks of gas. Maby its cuz i dont ride it hard?? My plugs are a lil darker than the plug pic posted above.

My new plugs had a color after 2 chops performed. 15 mins riding, including warm up.
