72 mph, no tabs, coming out of the water, fix?

What should I do? Less angle? I am running about .945 to .950 right now and it starts to come out of the water at around 71 -72 mph.

    Ideas?

Put the tabs back on! Should be pretty obvious that's why you're porposing. Not trying to be a smartie, but I don't understand the no-tabs thing. It's dangerous.

I second that, put the tabs back on. You shouldn't set up your boat to run with no tabs, it is dangerous.

Everyone is free to run any set-up they wish. The Texas boys run with trim tabs. The Fountain Boys dont. Each to his own.

There are differences in set-ups even between riding in superman position or riding on the seat.

The key is to run one set-up and keep working on it to improve it.

I would put the oem tabs back on and work with the rideplate angle some more. Taking the tabs off for a boat running that speed is going to ruin the handling and control. When the skis are running in the upper 70s to 80s there is a lot more down force being generated by the pump and the grate to help control the ski without tabs. Relieve some pump pressure at those 80 something speeds and the boat can run tabless all day.

Duke And Wfo Are Exactly Right!!! And There Are So Many Variable At Play Under The Boat, That It Would Be Almost Impossible To Tell What To Do Next.

    I Am Running No Tabs With 1.0" Angle On A 1300 R&d Plate @
78 Mph+. I Love The Feel Of No Tabs. The Only Downfall Is
That You Can't Run Fast In The Real Ruff Stuff. It Doesn't Feel Dangerous, It's Just A Waste Of Time.

    Good Luck!
