Just flush er good, clean er good. I always sprayed down with WD-40 over the engine and all parts to make sure she stayed lubed up.

There was just a discussion on this, a bit of dishwashing soap in the hose before flushing should help out, and as mentioned spray your favorite lubricant and water repellent on anything that even remotely looks like it might corrode.

    ....Vowels...funny.

I use salt away when I flush and I flush through the pick up and hose inlet PLUS I spray the entire interior and exterior with it, (3 jars worth per ski after salt water use) I happen to use stuff called CRC which is a protectant unlike wd-40 which actually forms a waterproof barrier for anything it is sprayed on like a coating. Does not just rub off, you have to use solvent, etc. Some would not like it because of this, but I love it. I have had great success with it and found it @ Boatersworld. It's not cheap though, 14 bucks a can. My hull still looks like showroom condition and even the jokers at the dealer were impressed. My lubricant of choice is from Being, (yep, the airplane stuff) I use it in conjunction with WD-40 because it's also very expensive, but it's used on aircraft and marine parts. I just don't mess around with maintenance stuff I guess,........

ps: I highly recommend installing an in-line water filter on your ski if you ride the ocean. I just spent 3 hours blowing a ton of sand out of my other ski because it was seriously clogged to the point that it burnt up 2 exhaust fittings due to no water getting through the cooling loop and heating up every fitting on the ski. They're 12.99 @ Boatersworld too.

Yeah im skiless for right now.

I had 3 at the beginning of the year.

    06 RXT
    01 GP1200R
    95 750 SXi

I'm going to be in the market for a waveblaster.

Just flush it, keep it clean and make sure is in clean condition before putting it away after riding. I ride only saltwater, and never had an issue.
