    Riding at night

I was just wondering if anybody has tried to add lights to a seadoo so they could ride at night. I dont know if this is even legal. But I think it would be a blast.

depending on where you live it may be illegal even with lights. Check your state's boating regulations.

I do believe I remember seeing someone on here who did it, but that was a couple of years back, with all the LED technology out today it wouldn't be hard.

Thanks I just checked the laws in the state and it says no.

I doubt that even if you did put the lights on you could get enough distance between them to be within regulation.

You'd have to have a pole to mount the white light and the red/green lights might be too close to even distinguish from any appreciable distance.

I`m pretty sure it`s NO across the board, says my USCG friend...

to quick, to small, to fast (top speed), relates to to dangerous...PR...

In France, it's strictly forbidden to ride by night...

I think Shhr said that it was OK to ride the Louisiana bayou at night. There was one night at the Bug that he and two others where cruising around. Easier to see the gators then.

In Australia The Water Police Have Lights On Their Seadoo Gtx For Riding At Night. But Other Than Them It Is A No No For All Others.
