    Question Quick Trim Question

I took out my trim and bought a new one and am getting ready to re-install the new one and I was wondering does it matter which wire goes to each plug on the trim motor? theres a blue and a green wire I believe

    thanks

Someone can tell you with more confidence then me but I would say no it doesnt matter because when I checked mine when you swap the wire all it did was change the polarity.

The only place I can see it makeing a difference is the direction in accordance to your trim button up and down being reversed.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

The wires from the harness should be color coordinated but switching them just gets you the wrong direction on the motor. A simple switch of the wires gets you going the right way.

the trim directions tell you to plug onto coordinating colors on the board! they may be marked trm or such! both come from the handlebar switch so you can follow those! Z

Just match the color coded wire to the abbreviation on the board. You'll be fine.
