    Aft cylinder not firing

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and pwc but am considering buying a friend's-friend '00 slx 1200. I bought a new battery and took the ski out to test drive it but after putting it in the water and starting it up, it idled roughly and died under throttle. It turned out the aft cylinder wasn't firing, or produced an extremely small spark only once every dozen rotations. I've read thought a few "no spark" threads but it seems that they are referring to no spark in any of the plugs. Shortly after loading the ski up, we went to trouble shooting, and after switching the plug wire with another one, rulled out the wire as a problem. Like I said, I don't have any knowledge on pwcs but my next guess would be the coil. I just wanted to see what you guys thought.
