Are you sure it is your button and not the starter relay? The relays are prone to going out a lot quicker and usually people think it is the button. What are the symptoms? If it is the relay, it is a very easy and inexpensive fix that you can do yourself for less than $40.

seems like the button just gets stuck. if you fight with it for a sec and pop it back out, the machine starts just fine.

And to add to this...my start/stop button on my 05 RXT stopped working for awhile today. I was running on the hose and all I heard was Click.. click when i tryed to start it. Is this the STARTER RELAY clicking and perhaps going bad??? But then After trying a few more times...it just started right up. HHmmm.
