Key On Crank
Well Heres The Poop I Thought My Starter Was Bad So Out Comes The Eng.again!! When I Pulled The Fly Wheel I Found The Woodruff Key Sheared Off. This Will Cause The Timing To Be Off Right? And Thats Way I Can Not Start Up . And Douse That Explain Fuel In My Lower Case ? And Anyone Know Way The Key Sheared Off.

Doesn't explain fuel in your lower case. Key sheared from maybe keeping your throttle pressed when you leave the water. (wave jumping) You're up to say 7000 RPM, then all of a sudden you hit the water and the impeller drops down to 5600 RPM. Somethings gonna give, and that heavy flywheel with centrifugal force is no match for a small 1/8" piece of steel. SNAP!!!!!!!!

Use red loctite on the shaft and it helps keep the flywheel on the cone.

Certainly, it's just a louder pop.
Are you going to try and fill the damaged crank with JB weld or something??
