95 sl 750 carb settings
I recently tuned my carbs to 1 1/4 turns (as i read on a post)on low and high speed needles. This took it from running like crap to running great. are these settings correct? now i am reading in posts - Low Speed – 1/2
High Speed – 1m, 1/2c, 3/4p should i change my settings? am i losing performance? my plugs look good on a plug chop. also why are the 3 carbs all different? why not have them all the same? I am topping out at 6620 RPM. does any one know the top rpm of a nicely tuned stock 1995 sl750?

Lows at 1/2 turn
1 turn on the MAG
1/2 turn Center
You should be running wayyyyy to rich AND your RPM's should be down due to the extra fuel. Average running RPM's are in the 6100-6300RPM range.
If you run at correct settings and it runs poorly or lean, you havea restriction or air leak in the system somewhere.
The reason for individual setting are temps at each cylinder, pipe harmonics, yada, yada, yada.
