    question for carb guys

can you tell me how a blocked acc pump jet on #1 carb would affect the running of a gpr 1200...
the jet in the carb body #1 was 100% blocked
#2 was partially blocked but not as bad as other
got my buds ski apart and among other small defects have found above problem and not sure if this would cause the running problems we are having...
    thanks in advance paul

p.s... bud dean is off sunning himself a million miles away while i work on his p.o.s ski ...

plug #1 keeps droping out then sounds like it fires for a second then not...

wont pull through the range and seems to pull harder top end if you back off the 3/4 gas and let it try to pick up speed that way,but never gets to full top speed..
runs great under no load on trailer...

I really don't think a blocked accelerator pump is going to cause the problems you described. I'd look elsewhere.

neither did i but you got to ask as that was the only problem i could find along with reed stoppers out of tolerance a bit..
put my stock 1300 reeds in for him and got the pump jet unblocked so it works fine other than that to ME the ski seems good, will get new leads in post soon as i could only ohm out under no load, and water test again,
the only way i could have seen the ecc pump in #1 doing that was if it built up preasure and then dumped all the juice in one go and took the spark out but i am clutching at straws now as the following has been done..

carbs checked and re built inc new carb filter..
    coils tested against resistance
new leads ordered as can only be tested with no load
    crank phase checked
    all connections checked on ski
    slight chip on reeds...replaced
    acc pump slight malfunction..repaired

any ideas or can you think of something i missed
