Fly FA's or R&D Power Plenum?
Has anyone done a direct comparision of the pod style FA's (Fly Racing, Riva, Etc.) vs. the R&D Power Plenum on a GP1200R? If you had both of them in hand which one would you use and why?

I've been using the one piece R&D for 5 years and I think my speed speaks for itself. But if I had one or the other, I wouldn't shell out money for a different style. I just can't see that much difference between the two, other than the R&D being easier to take off for servicing the carbs.
Good talking to you today, Clint. We'll have that GPR smoking soon.

Only reason I am asking is I just picked up a brand new R&D Power Plenum on Ebay a couple hours ago for $20! It was one of those deals that was too good to pass up, I will find out which works best and sell the others! For $20 I figured I couldn't go wrong and could actually make a little money in the long run.
David: Yeah it was great talking with you too! I appreciate all the help! I'll PM you my cell number so you have it.

Nobody else has a preference or opinion on this?

You might want to do a search - I posed the same question last year and someone noted the Proks had a minor RPM gain.
Dont forget you will need carb adapters for that FA (if they werent included)

I have run Proks and Tau Ceti F/A's good results with both. I also had Fly F/A's come on a ski I bought they were falling apart I would stay away from the Fly's.

Pretty sure those Fly's come with a lifetime warranty. On my SeaDoo's I had at least 3 replaced for around $10.
