    Intake Grate

Which is best for a 06 RXT? Also are the rails the same width apart as the stock grate? another question what is the reverse bucket Mod on a RXT??
    Thanks

The grate question for RXT's is a debatable subject.

If the ski is stock or not likely to be modded very heavily...the general concensus seems inclined for leaving the stock grate in place.

The likelyhood of blowing the bucket off at speed seems to be very real after a wedge is installed...unless you lose a little material on the lower side of the bucket. ---check out the bottom of this pic.

Thanks for the reply,I have a bit of bow wonder at lower speeds I was hoping the Riva grate with its protruding rails would help with this. I may have to go with a set of skegs

    "Bow wonder"

Never it heard it called that...you talking about a list to one side or the other at slow speeds? If you are it did help me.

Skegs are on my list for this winter.

yup that's what I mean. It's typical for a V-hull boat but never thought it would be an issue on a jetski

some call it "nose hunting", a grate won't fix it but a wedge is what the doctor ordered. BTW, I put my grate back on the shelf after about 5 hours. maybe someday I'll be fast enough to need it.

Your avatar is like a dream man!!! Nice!

I would not put a Riva grate on an RXT. It has caused my rideplate to break TWICE and lost 2 riva grates...Stick with the stock one....Just my honest opinion based on my experience...
