    96 sl900

    i have a 96 sl900 that one of the pistions is all scored up and there is slop in it. i wanna rebuild the top end put looking for more then factor. if any one know s any places please let me know. i also would like to know what other motor work can be done wwhile i have it apart to inprove performace. new to this so any info will help

    you can get a new piston through any authorized Polaris dealer.

    While its apart you might want to up the compression with 92 octane domes. You could also put in some vforce reeds if you want to take the carbs off.

    But any Polaris dealer can order the piston or other replacement parts you need.
