    gp1200r #2 hot

When I run the ski on the hose or in the water #2 is hotter to the touch the #1 and #3. I check the plug and #2 is much cleaner (still tan) than #1 and #3. I rebuild all three carbs at the same time 8 hours ago so I know they are set to spec. I have R+D heads with the 1 into 3 water line splitter. I am going to switch the hoses around to see if that makes a difference. The ski runs fine except power valves don't right now, that should not matter though (working on that). Anyone else notice this on your ski? 2000 Gp1200r

OK, never seen anything like that with the R&D heads.
    Water routing should be:
#1 cylinder should go into the side of the pipe just like OE
#2 cylinder should go in the rear of the pipe just like OE
    #3 should go over board.

This should cool eveerything down just a little bit.

With the way that it is now, do all three heads run into the pipe?

Drill a hole and install a 1/2" bypass fitting.

    Something like that.

I am confused. Use the stock hose positions for #1 & #2 then how does #3 get water?

The heads are the "outlets" not "inlets". The water travels from the bottom to the top of the engine.

the incoming cooling hose is connected to the red flush hose on the port side....

you should get a yami manual, its parts are super detailed but no descriptions......helps alot though
