    Help with Thru-hull Install ASAP...!!!

My brain is too small to come up with an easy way to put the clamp on and tighten the coupler and riva pipe at the exit location....

I already put the one at the rude tip through the opas little opening but it seems impossible for the one that clamps the pipe...

I put the coupler on the exhaust tip first. Then press the pipe into the coupler (make sure both clamps are on the coupler first). Then I lay on the engine so that I can reach all the way back to the coupler. Using a 1/4" socket wrench with an 8mm socket, you can tighten both clamps by feel.

Geo, tighten the clamp close so it doesnt move on the coupler then shove it back on the rear piece, you should be able to use a socket to tighten the clamp down...

i dont have OPAS so if you have that, i have no idea...

Geo, I clamped down the coupler to the exhaust pipe first, then i had the other clamp loosely on the coupler, sprayed the coupler real good with windex and pushed it on the exhaust outlet tube. then i used long screw drivers to slide the clamp in place and tighten. I tightened thru the opas holes.

Oh damn, I forgot this was on an RXT. Never done one, so I don't know. But I do have long arms Do you RXT guys have to remove the OPAS b/o everytime you remove the exhaust pipe? What a PITA.
