    Groco water strainer mounting question

I got my Groco water strainer yesterday (Thanks Jerry!) and was wondering where the best place to mount it on a RXP? Do I need to get longer hoses? What do you fasten with? Any pics?
    Thanks

This may sound dumb but i just mouted mine right in front of my stock intercooler. had it there for a couple hours so far so good. No mounting just hangs inline pretty easy to get to and i can see if theres anything major in there. When i put my external on i will mount it in the rear somewhere though.

I ran mine on the side, just had to trim the seat shroud a little....the strainer is rotated to a 45 degree angle so I can unscrew it with the shroud still on...

The RXP seat shroud that you take off actaully goes down INTO the hull a little....The mounting brcacket for the strainer mounted right in its way....If you mount it in the same location as me, you will see what i am talking about....Its only a slight trim, like a 1/4 wide by 3-4 inches long....

Go ahead, I don't mind....I originally mounted it down, but then after my 1st ride with it and I tried to empty it, and couldn't reach it properly, I switched it when I got home...

post pics when you do it...

Has anyone run into problems with running their water lines to long? I have an external IC, and I am thinking about running the stock hose to the front where I will have the strainer mounted for easy cleaning. Then a hose running down the side back to the IC. Has anyone had a high temp alarm problem with running the water hose this long?
