I use two bag anchors! They work great! One in front, and one in back!

Our lakes around here dont drop off very fast or deep, so I use a dog screw. Works really well if you can get it twisted in enough. Keep a float on the end and just leave it there while I ride.

hehe I thought the whole advantage to the bags what that you keep them empty when you're not using them? At any rate the bags are nice for space and seem to hold fairly decent as long as you get them nice and loaded. Though I've had them slide a few feet here when i'm out at the islands in the bay... Dog screw is my favorite though since it also doubles as a make-shift beer bottle opener when you're a mile out and forgot to bring one...

I use the sand bag with a length of bungee holding the ski to the bag, that seems to help keep the bag in one place when the water is rough.

Lurker, your the man. I have tested all anchors from bags to flukes to screws. The best is the screw with a bungee cord. I tested it in rough water. Works awesome!
