rejetted and wont start
I finished rejetting my 2000 GP1200R and the only way it starts is if I prime it by dumping fuel directly into the cyclinder. It then runs and idles great. Then after shutdown the only way to restart it is to prime it again.
What the heck is this all about? Is this unusual? Will a prime kit fix it?

did you mess with the little arm and spring under the black diaphram?

kit came with new springs. Didnt bend the arms in any way. Everything went smoooooooth. Runs and idles fine once started.
What the heck is a popoff?

You sure you have all the pulse lines connected? Sounds like a fuel pump problem to me.

Do you still have the choke plates? If you have removed them and rejetted to a kit from Island or something like that you will need a primer kit. Especially that far north where the temps are much cooler.

yep this was a jet kit from Island Racing. Yep I just ordered a Primer kit for it. This I hope does the trick. I've got other projects that need my attention, and this boat is absorbing way too much of my time.
