    Impelller position

Noticed my ski, while running awesome seems if have a small amount of cavitation out of the hole, Not bad but not what is was a few weeks ago. (04 gtx sc) I thought maybe on the freedom ride I sucked something up, so tonight I checked the wear ring. Looked good, but I noticed the impeller was all the way at the back (Rear) edge of the wear ring, and the boot at the front of the impeller (driveshaft to imp.) is not seated. Is the impeller supposed to be to the back or front of the ring..and could the boot not being seated be causing this wierd cavitationesc feeling? Thanks, John

A loose boot on the front of the prop will cause cavitation. Prop to rear is normal
