    Began my break in today

well got the first .9 of a break in today. water was 57 engine stayed at 69-70, ambient was 76. these RXPs get up and are gone very quickly i guess all of u all know that though. whew hooo! water was glass.

what is scary is the fact that it is not that scary at 60+ MPH whoo hoo!

another observation water doesnt seem to come back up the footwells as much as previous skis

So ok now what is my first mod-Thumb throttle Conversion? is what I am thinking followed by riva grate?

Riva Air breather makes me nervious maybe PPG.

anyway what fun it is going to be

I just installed a new Riva finger throttle kit on bayou princess's ski. its a must have. As is the Riva grate.

Why does the Riva air intake make you nervous? I never heard of anyone having problems using it.

    Congrats on the new ski!

I really dont much about these things...but you must do the finger throttle. The thumb throttle was really uncomfortable. I noticed a big difference when Jerry switched.

Correct my mistake finger throttle is more correct way of saying it.

I dont know jerry I guess because it is brand new and a big deal for me to be able to get one, and my background is taking real good care of my things and if water ever got in there I might not be able to afford the fix.

I have been reading for weeks now and doing the searches and seen the debates. I guess the PPG version just has a higher comfort level for me right now 2-3 months from now who knows

You can install a air intake just like PPG's for about $30 bucks. I have the directions on my yahoo site with pictures if you are interested?

    VERY easy

I put a Riva stage 1 on my RXP before it hit the water and no problems.I like the Riva air intake the best.
