1st ride on our new 07 GPR

Hey guys, broke it in easy for 1 tank of gas, then did some gps testing.

Its totally stock except for a Jim's FF plate set at .955", pump shoe shaved about .035" on the mounting surface and sealed, (I did not have the .075 clearence between hull surface and shoe) and an 800 grate.

with 1/2 tank of fuel, 100 degree air temp, 85 degree water temp it ran a 66.9 mph at 7150 rpm.

With 2 bars of fuel ran 67.0 mph at 7200 rpm.

I remember some saying they ran 66 bone sock, no plate, but maybe in cooler weather?

Next is d-plate, chip, 14/20 dyna, some air intake mods, and a call to WFO.
It is way better in the rough than my 2000 boat so it must be the 2" extention.

I would hold off on the 14/20 till you get some motor mods. You won't beable to turn it correctly with out any.

    I would say ATLEAST

    VF3's
    D-Plate
    EFI Controller

    before you get a 14/20

He has a good point, If your turning your stock prop at 7150 a 14/20 will just kill it. I would wait for mods OR cooler weather before I went with the prop.

My 2000 boat has gas valves. Tonite I removed the cat, air intake crud and opened up the area in the front for more air. Chip also.

    Congrats !

Its will get a little faster as you put a few hours on it. Gimmie me a call when you get a chance. You should be able to get 70 with the stock prop.
