New motor or sell hull and trailor?

I have a 98 GP1200 that requires a new motor, the former owner pretty much shot having a good core.
Should I invest 2500 into the ski or sell it? How much is a low hour hull and trailer worth?

    Fix it
How do you come up with $2500 im currious.
If I was looking for a hull I would be wanting to spend $500-$600 im not sure what they go for though.
You could sell carbs pump h/bars ignition etc as well as the hull if you part it out.
    How bad is the motor.
    Got pics.
You can buy whatever it needs and fix it for less than $2500.
    C/Cases
    Crank
    Head
    pistons
    rebore
    rebuild carbs
Thats most of it comes out cheaper than $2500
If you want send it to me and i'll fix it for the cost of parts and a predetermined fee.
I allready have a crank(welded) and a nice head (aftermarket) here I could use if you wanted to up the performance.

I've got to go get a new camera today I will get some pictures here shortly.

The 2500 came from need a new upper and lower case and piston case. I have a quote for 1000 for good core with a new exhaust manifold. And SBT wants 1200 for their performance motor. What is better about the performance motor over the regular for 899?
    Pics shortly

    Carnage

Let me know what you think of this. I think the only item good is the head and the crank.

Yeah you just have to wonder why someone would keep running the ski after the rod had seperated from the piston.

I know nothing about the ski really, why do you think it was rebuilt already?
