The 14/20 is hurting your performance at this point because your motor is stock. Most will tell you that you atleast need reeds, power filter, and an EFI controller before you are ready for a 14/20. A bump up in compression will help your low end, as well as a pump seal kit. The jetworks helps, but your main problem right now is your prop is too big for a stock motor.

You can either have the stock head milled, or go with aftermarket heads.

    GPR need help

My main concern is my hole shot, i was thinking that getting the newest GPR was the fastest or close to, but i expected way more out of this runner, is it because of the 2 stroke engine that it lacks low end torque?

Do a search on here for Lowell Horning.

Send a stock head to him for modification. He can hook you up.

Bsmith, I think it must be your prop thats hurting you. I have 07 gpr with only PPK and 1200 intake grate. I get awesome hole shot. My bro in law has new ultra 250 with almost every mod available and i blow him out of the water on holeshot every time.

    jet works

I have the 06 gpr with the 14\20 solas sealed pump 1200 great Shreadmaster ride plate D-Plate jet works I had the same problem last year until I put in the jet works and D-Plate I just raced a gtx from the start and went rite by him in 1 foot swells I only got 67 top end but he could not keep up. In flat to 6 inch chop I go 69.4 to 69.7 on gps. I also have to put in 1 notch down on take off so I don't come out on take off and suck air since I installed the jet works.
