He picked that up before Mud Bug Kerry. He has many hours on
it and its running strong, he just put the motor into a new hull
and really picked up some nice speed from his old damaged hull.
He will be going for a stage two setup next, wants to be in the high
80 mph range on a single pipe.

have the big bore timing curve either. Its a mild 87 octane setup.
Stage 2 involves bigger carbs, advance portings, custom timing
curves. There is also a option stroker setup available. This stuff
is all new, so I'm having to test over the summer to make
sure the setup's are going to work and not have any failures
on pump fuel.

what is he running now? and at what speed? if you don't mind.
Ben, Maybe you should explain what is included in your stage one package, or your stage 2 package. this would be good for all that might want to consider what you have to offer. It would probably be best to put it in your tuner section though. Or do you have a web site?
I'm just curious about what type of thing you have going on.

He put that 1500 in a nice looking hull but I haven't heard what he's running with it I did here it was out though. I have the old hull and it needs a lot of work.

I hear he's running around 75, that's a howitzer shot away from high 80's. Maybe Frank can chime in and update us. To clarify things a bit, this may be a "stage 1 Herminator 1500" but I surely wouldn't call it a stage 1 GPR. Keep in mind he's running a ported 1500 with custom wiseco pistons, 05' pump with a 15/25 or therabouts dynafly and Jims FF plate.

The ski with the old hull ran a best of 79.2 mph. He has
the motor in the new hull, its just got a 1200 grate and the
pump shoe and stuff is not sealed. Nothing has been done on
the handling of the new boat by me. He will be returning it
this fall for that setup. In the meantime he will just be riding it
till he can bring it down. He shouldn't have any problem beating
any GPR around his lake even with its current setup.

Ben, Franks ski may have ran 79 in the South but here in Michigan with the old hull it ran 74, don't know how to quite explain that. Frank never GPS'd the ski down by you but he did when he got it back here and I hear 74+ was all it had. Didn't you also originally have a higher compression head on his motor but lowered the compression to try and "loosen up" the motor for more rpm's?
