SL-780, how many fuel filters?????
I have a ski that I am working on for a friend, the thing now starts and idles great. It ran awesome for 2-3 days, now it will go great to 30 mph and bogs down. If you let it idle for a second or two and hammer it, it spools up and bogs again.
I took the screen out of the fuel/water seperator and cleaned. Are there any filters in the carbs (like the Doo's) that also need to be cleaned out??
The ski is a 96 with less than 24 hours of use on it. The entire unit looks great. We did drain the gas out of the tank and install fresh.
Is the vent on the tank a one-way valve? When we pulled the gas cap off the tank was pressurized. Could this be part of the problem??

daddy, get those carbs off and have a peak, all of that sitting time probably has something plugged up now. Fuel algae is what winds up in most systems.
That garbage sit in the tanks, lines and everywhere else and then as the fuel comes through the system it loosens it up and takes it to the filters in the carbs.
That's my guess anyway.....

Cleaned out once already. I'll tare them out again and Install new fuel lines to get the crap out. Tank looks good from what I can see.
How about the presurized fuel tank??

If it's hot it will have some pressure in the tank.
