    Couple of RXT questions

Father in law just got an 06 RXT. Is 7950 rpm on top normal? Ski has 3 hours on it. Is there an odometer or trip odometer so you can tell mileage?
    Thanks.

7950 is about right, but ideally you want 8100. Not sure of his elevation though? Heat & humidity plays a role too.

Still has some breakin time so it may loosen up and spin up to 8100 in the near future.

Yes, Mark- I think there is an odometer & trip on that ski (not really sure on the '06 though, they changed some stuff). You really need to get the GPS glove box option and a Garmin going so you can get some accurate speed readings and the trip/odo on it will be much more realistic also.

thats one thing i hate about 06... with the new guages you can't reset the timer and/or odometer... even tho the 06 guages are more sleek looking, i'd rather have my 05 guage functions

Thanks for the replies. Jerry, he is in ft. myers now. I'm sure the motor will loosen up some after it breaks in. What is the rev limiter set at on a stock RXT?
