    Talking Nitrous?

OK..Call me crazy,but..... Laughing gas makes you laugh... But it's the cheapest HP per dollar,After reading about Beer's Sleeper.(Very nice coverage of the Mod),How much fun could be had with THE BUTTON? The biggest problem I see is putting it to the water. There would be a price to pay for having it...when you want to do normal riding..Prop selection?, But to be able to throw 30 to 40% HP when you want??? Give me your thoughts,I have a friend that is really good with gas.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think the NOS will work with a 2stroke motor. I did some research on this before and it seems to me that the compression rate would be raised to high for a 2-stroke. I could be wrong as it has been several years since I thought about this.

We run into similar issues with snowmobiles you can run NOS but if you clutch without it you can only do about 30 HP before you overdrive your clutch bad. If you clutch your sled for NOS its a dog without it. I would assume impeller pitch is similar. 30 HP is alot of difference.

I know some of the yammi guys use/used it, but the bigger problem is that it strips or freezes( can't remember) the oil on the cyl. walls and crank bearings.

Still doing some research. At over $750.00,it might not be so much fun too try and find it's a waste. Was figuring more in the -$500.00 range like a vehicle set-up. Thanks All,I'll let all know if becomes a project.Dan
