    Who likes the stock sponsons?

I have been having Worx sponsons on my ski, soon to be Riva sponsons though and really like the way it handles.

I rode Careys ski yesterday and of course it still has the stock sponsons on it. I hated it! Going over wakes gave me a very uneasy feeling and the ski seemed to dart left/right. Much like when i used to have OPAS.

With my ski the thing just motors straight thru chop/wakes. The tracking is unreal. I can go at VERY high speed thru chop and feel completely in control.

Anyone else notice this when going from the stock sponsons to aftermarket?

I know some people, like Jawz still use the stock sponsons for CC racing. Whats your take on this?

Jaw's is a Super Course racer, He is in my region also I also use the Stock sponsons and they are great for me. I tried riva's before way to sharp turning and hated them at top speed!

I noticed a major improvement when switching to the R&D G-Force sponsons. With the stock sponsons the ski would slide all over the place and wobble thru the rough, with the R&D sponsons it tracks right on the money, and digs in the corners...PR...

Jerry, I don`t know how the riva sponsons mount, but I like the beefy adjustable back plates that R&D uses. I do know that BRP made a change in the factory sponson design for 05-up. I would always notice that the stock sponson halves would separate when riding aggressively.

I have mine set-up for 400lbs (2 peeps) a little more aggressive than recreational riding setting, I think it is one hole up, the other down, would have to look at the paper to be sure, remember this is for the GTX...PR...

I rode my rxp once since I installed the sponsons and no opas. I noticed it tracked much better through the rough. I didn't get the feeling that I was going to be tossed any moment. I also noticed proposing on that trip which I never noticed before.
