    OEM Cover

05 RXT... just put the RIVA finger throttle on.... I didn't know until I got it out of the box that it is also an extension bilaterally for your grips..... really akward over the past few rides but I am getting used to it.... anyways....

as soon as I found out that I had to extend the bars i realized that the cover would no longer fit....

question I got is anyone know a cheap and easy way to extend the portion of the OEM cover that extends over the handlebars... figured I would need 1.5-2"....

was thinking that I would take it to a tailor but still looking to keep frugal.... free is my favorite price but I can't think of a way to do this without destroying the cover..... any ideas???

Here are some pics of the after product while we are at it...

It came with a new throttle housing but I couldn't get it to bacome perfectly flush with the unit so I modified the stock one.... plus it let me keep the chrome piece which I like more....

I don't like the bar extensions on that setup. You'll find that your hands end back at the oem position when riding. I'm going to remove mine. As far as the cover I cut a X on one of rhe hand grips (I did the non throttle side) and all you have is 2 inches of grip sticking out. Might have a pocket sewed onto that area later or remove the extensions and patch the X cut.
