Pull the plugs and check to see if the engine is full of water...

How far and how fast was it towed? I've towed my RXP 2+ miles at 10 mph before with no problems. I think you have to get above 15 mph before water is forced into the exhaust.

JFizzle towed my RXP about 6 miles last Thursday at 20 or so mph, no clamp. Did stop 2-3 times, no water in the motor.

I've probly put 4 or so hours on it since w/o any issues.

Well I was riding on the Hudson river up towards Troy = lots of garbage in the water.

Sucked up a nice piece of hard plastic about 1"x4" that jammed my prop. So it was either idle the entire 6-7 miles home or get towed.

I towed the RXP because I can only ride one ski at a time. Saw a guy try to ride 2 250x's from the ramp to his dock but he didn't get very far.

he was a rock star in the north sask. towed it 6-8 miles 40-50mph. checked no water in motor. did pump repairs took it out again, 40mins down the river hull filled up with water. now there appears to be water in oil.
