Pulled my prop today w/ pics
I pulled my prop out today while swapping back to the stock intake grate. I saw a chunk in the side of my pump missing and thought I should check it all out. I'm not sure what caused it so I'm posting pics to see what you all think. The prop looks like it has some pitting along the sides and the pump has a chunk missing, and it also looks pitted.

Looks like something went through there

I filled in the pump pitting with JB Weld. Hopefully it'll work. I'll sand it flush tomorrow and check prop clearances too.

Hey AaronC, Took my pump off and apart and have what looks like identical damage. Also have heat marks at the wear ring welded seam which is roughly 180 degrees from damaged area. Ran good, would of never known it was there without taking apart.
