    Oil Pump question

On a 1300 non power valve oil pump setup, when putting the cable back on the oil pump, you squeeze the throttle until the lever system hits the tab correct? Or as the manual calls for a .5 mm gap. By gapping it .5 mm does that make it run 32:1. I am guessing that with the tab hitting its running 40:1. Will .5 mm make that much difference? Someone had mentioned 50 thousandths gap. Just confused and trying to get a clear answer. Let me know what you guys come up with.

Shooter, when it travels farther it gives more oil (like maybe 28:1)

I know you are consuming a lot of oil. Back it to the factory spec and see.

well Jim set it so that the lever hits the stopper. The manual says let it hit the stopper or have a .5 mm gap. So with that being said, you think that will make that much of a difference?
I tried calling you, I need to talk to you about these throttle bodies and how you want to go about getting them back, hahahaha. Call you later on tonight.

MPower is a FAGGOT by the way. The question was actually for him to see what kind of lube he needs to use to get his cylinder nice and slick for his man.

I noticed when doing my key that my oil pump was way out of wack! Like 30 degrees off the tab

30 degree off? In the manual says .5 mm off max. I am going to set it at that. Also, I just took off the U pipe and realized that my oil cable line was just sitting there, not tight. It had come loose somehow or another, talk about being lucky. Fortunately the bracket has a lip and it kept the cable on it. I also had a ziptie and a hose in front of it to keep it on in case it ever came off. An idea for some of you guys just incase those nuts ever come loose. I was very lucky.
Once again, Big Big thanks to WFO for telling me about readjusting the oil cable line after I had adjusted the throttle cable up by the handlebar. If it wouldn't have been for him saying that I'd still be riding my ski with a loose cable.
I'll said MPower down to Texas to take care of you Rich, hahahaha.

    p.s. thanks again Rich
